BIOGRAPHY

Yangtao Wang was born in June 1993. He is currently a full-time lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Cyber Engineering, Guangzhou University, Guangzhou, China. He received a Ph.D. degree from Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2021. Prior to his Ph.D. journey, he received a B.S. degree from the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Hubei University, Wuhan, China, in 2015. His current main research interests include deep learning, image recognition, graph neural network and multimedia content analysis. He has published papers in international conferences and journals including ADMA, SIGMOD, APWeb-WAIM, DATE, DAC, ICME, IJCAI, CIKM, ICMR, Future Generation Computer Systems, World Wide Web Journal, Neural Computing and Applications, ACM/IMS Transactions on Data Science, Pattern Recognition, Multimedia Tools and Applications, etc. He got ADMA 2018 Best Student Paper Runner-up Award and APWeb-WAIM 2019 Best Paper Runner-up Award. He served as a reviewer for IEEE Access, APWeb-WAIM 2020 and AAAI 2021.
